You will always be safe and know what is happening in Hypnosis. You will never do something you do not want to do. Some people can be hyper aware of everything that is being said, they can drift in and out, or feel like they are going to sleep. All these feelings are normal in hypnosis and each time can be different. There is no right or wrong way to do hypnosis.
The person's attention is so focused, while in this state anything going on around them is temporarily blocked or is ignored. In this naturally occurring state, a person will focus their attention, with the help of a trained hypnotherapist, on positive and permanent changes. This works because in a state of relaxation you can allow yourself to be open and you accept positive, permanent, suggestions that change your behaviors for the good.
